LAMINATE INSTALLATION

Laminate flooring is designed for effortless installation. You can install it in any room, whether above or below ground, and on top of almost any surface. Installation is fast since there is no need for adhesives or special tools, making it ideal for DIYers with some experience. However, we still recommend trusting professionals with your installation, as this will ensure the job is done right and will be covered under the manufacturer's warranty.

Laminate planks do not require glue, nails, or staples. Instead, they connect using unique locking edges. Once installed, the entire floor floats above the subfloor, expanding and contracting with the climate of your home. This means we won't have to spend time removing your old flooring before the installation as long as your subfloor is sound. We may also install an underlayment, which adds protection against heavy foot traffic.

On the day of the installation, you'll need to have an adult (someone who is at least 18 years old) greet the installation crew and guide them to the work area. Then, you'll need to keep children and pets out of the area until the job is over. The installation crew will give you additional instructions from there.

After installation, there may be dust and residual odors. It's a good idea to establish proper ventilation for up to 72 hours after the job is complete. If you have any questions or concerns about your installation, we would be happy to answer them for you!
